One of our new recruits for this season, Sam is a versatile defender who plays left back or centre back. He started his career at Nottingham Forest, where he was coached by Sports manager Gareth Holmes and after a loan spell with York City he made a permanent move following his release.

He moved on to Boston Utd who loaned him back to York before heading south to Truro City in July 2024, after spending much of the previous season on loan with the Cornish team.

He also spent the latter part of last season at Worksop on loan and won promotion from National League’s North and South in consecutive years with both York and Truro.
