Centre back Hamza made the move to Mickleover during the close season, having spent the last four seasons at Worksop Town centre back, where he captained their climb up the football ladder.

A former Nottingham Forest Junior, he was loaned to Lincoln City, before joining Macclesfield on his release. After two years each at Notts County and Plymouth Argyle, he had spell in Algeria with JS Kabylie.

He returned to Lincoln on his UK return, spending a year at Sincil Bank before another year each at Halifax, Wrexham and York City. He was at Guiseley for three years, before joining Worksop.

He was also capped at under 20 level by Algeria and was part of their Olympic team. An FA Trophy winner in consecutive years with Halifax and York, he’s made over 100 league football league appearances.
