An experienced defensive midfielder, Michael starting his career at the Nottingham Forest Academy.

Following his release in 204 he joined Boston Utd, before moving to Grantham for the first of two spells a year later.

He played for Matlock Town, Pickering and Frickleybefore returning to Grantham, more recently he has played for Ossett Utd and is also a qualified physiotherapist.
