Having started his career at Chesterfield and the Synergy Sports Academy, Jay spent three years in goal for Boston Utd. He then moved onto Loughborough Dynamo, where he spent four years before joining Corby Town.

He first joined Kettering in September 2024, but moved to Matlock Town after sixth months and made his return last August.

He comes to Mickleover on a dual registration from Kettering.

Jack had been familiar to Mickleover for a while, having spent part of last season as the goalkeeping training partner.

He had one pre-season outing for Sports last season, as well as a few games with Radford FC. He kept goal in two of this seasons pre-season games, before making his debut in our opening league match at Coventry Sphinx.
