Having got through the two preliminary rounds, Mickleover have been drawn away to Southern League Premier Division Stamford on September 5th.
Our hosts are currently bottom of the table, after four defeats, including last Saturday’s 0-1 loss at Worcester City.
What are manager Gareth Holmes’ views on the draw?
We’ve had a really positive start to the season. The lads are really buying into who we are and what we want to become. We will do our homework and prepare well. It’s a great game for us to look forward too.
Back in 23/24 we played Stamford in the league, going down 0-4 away, before returning the favour 3-0 at home at the end of our play-off season.
