Any hopes Mickleover Reserves had of a second win of the season were dashed at Holbrook Sports last Saturday, when the hosts scored the only goal on the stroke of half time.
Mickleover youngsters had matched their opponents and looked set to go for the half time break level pegging, until Joshua House’s strike as the whistle was poised.
Despite Mickleover’s efforts to push for a second half equaliser, it remained 0-1 as Sports now drop into the bottom three.
They are away from home again this weekend visiting second in the table Graham Street Prims.
