Ex-Owl Joins Sports

MICKLEOVER have signed former Sheffield Wednesday Under 23 captain Josh Ashman on a six week loan from Bradford Park Avenue, and went straight into the starting line-up for our game defeat at Belper Town last Saturday.
He has previously been loaned to Guiseley and spent three months at Matlock Town last season.
Ex Robin Joins Sports

Mickleover have signed midfielder Dorian Sulkowski from Ilkeston Town.
He joined the Robins at the start of this season, having played for Radford last term. He’s also played for Worksop Town and made his debut last Saturday as a second half substitute.

Groves Joins Coaching Staff

The vastly experienced Paul Groves has rejoined the Mickleover coaching line up.
Having played for the likes of Burton Albion, Leicester City, Blackpool Grimsby and West Brom among others, Groves first spell in management was as player coach at Grimsby Town.
He had spells as caretaker/assistant manager at Portsmouth, assistant at West Ham and Birmingham City and managed both the first team and academy at Bournemouth. After spells in India and Israel he managed Gloucestet City, before joining Mickleover in late 2022, joining John McGrath to take us to the edge of the play offs. Latterly he was assistant at Buxton after another spell in India.
It’s great to have Paul on board. He brings a wealth of experience and will really add to our coaching team.
We now want to move forward and build on the positive result from Tuesday night.
