This Sunday we’re back at home as we take on Hemmington Hammers Veterans – 2pm kick-off! We’re looking to make it four wins on the bounce (including the cup), having scored 24 and conceded just 1 in last four fixtures.
A win would see us move into 2nd place, so there’s everything to play for. We’ve already faced Hemmington in the cup earlier this season, coming away with an impressive 6–1 victory, but we know this will be a different challenge – they’ve strengthened and have key players back.
We’ll be without a few of our own lads due to knocks and unavailability, so we’ll be juggling the pack once again… I might even have to kit up myself!
It should be a great game against my old club, and we’ll be giving them a warm welcome. Would be brilliant to get a few supporters down to cheer us on – your backing really makes a difference!
