Mickleover Reserves hopes of progressing in the Abacus Lighting Floodlit Cup came to an abrupt end, with a 1-4 defeat at home to Haworth Colliery last Tuesday evening.
Two goals in each half from our visitors, ended Sports youngsters challenge.
Back in the Central Midlands Alliance League, Sports were on the wrong end of 0-4 defeat at Linby Colliery 10 days earlier, just a few days after Josh Carter hit all four goal in a thrilling 4-3 win over Cromford & Wirksworth.
They are not due to play again until AFC Normanton visit on March 11th at 7.45pm.
