Mickleover Reserves headed for Long Eaton last Saturday for their Central Midlands League Premier Division South fixture, seeking revenge for the rare home defeat suffered at their hosts hands in August.
In a tough game they came away with a point from a 1-1 draw, with leading scorer George Atwal on the score sheet again.
It has briefly knocked Sports from the top of the table, one point behind Blidworth, with a game in hand.
They are due to visit Wirksworth Ivanhoe on Saturday for a 2pm kick off weather permitting before facing Linby at the Don Amott Arena on December 18th, their last game of 2021.
