As a Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Will came to Mickleover initially on a months loan.

The 20 year old scored on his first-team debut for the Owls against Leicester City Under 21’s in the Papa John’s Trophy and also found the net in a pre-season first-team friendly against Huddersfield Town.

In 21/22 he was also awarded League Football Apprentice of the Year.

He soon became a Mickleover favourite with his pace and 100% effort, seeing out the rest of the season at the Don Amott Arena, before making his stay permanent for this term.
