On the eve of Mickleover’s home game against Racing Club Warwick last Saturday, Sports boss Gareth Holmes added two players to his squad to see out the season.
Winger/midfielder Luke McCormick spent time with Gareth at the Nottingham Forest Academy, before joining Grantham Town following his release. He then spent six years in the US before his return to the UK.
Goalkeeper Jason Alexander began his career at Chesterfield and joins us on a dual registration from Kettering Town. Both players were in last Saturday’s starting line-up.
There has also been one outgoing move, with Fraser Corden going out on loan to Belper Utd. He scored on his debut after coming on as a second half substitute.
